The Japanese have always been able to surprise in the context of architecture. One of the most creative and unusual private houses was a small mansion designed by the mA-style architects architectural bureau, built in the Japanese city of Hamamatsu. This is a frame house with a shed roof, which on one side is practically adjacent to the ground. Original and stylish solution.

RATIONALITY AND FUNCTIONALITY OF A SHED ROOF FRAME HOUSE

Japanese people do not tend to chase the luxury. They are supporters of rationality, compactness and functionality. This unusual house with a triangular facade was a confirmation of this. Its area is only 70 sq.m. At the same time, they managed to realize extremely creative and unusual ideas for house building.

To accommodate everything you need in this two-story frame house with a pitched roof, a small space is used equally useful vertically and horizontally. Moreover, inside it remains as open as possible, due to which it was possible to avoid the effect of crowding. From the side of the social zone, the terrace of the house, panoramic glazing is made, which can be opened, thereby combining the internal and external space. But in terms of separating living space from the local area, a very unusual idea has been implemented here, which we will consider further.

LARGE CORNISE AS AN ORIGINAL AND FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT OF ARCHITECTURE OF A FRAME HOUSING WITH A SHED ROOF

One of the main elements of the building was a large roof cornice. Under it is a whole social zone, which borders on outer space. Here, a clear line between the inside of the building and the surrounding area is almost erased. Due to the large cornice, which protrudes several meters and is practically adjacent to the ground, it seems that part of the yard is located directly in the house. Grass grows on this site, and even trees for which holes are made in the cornice.

The Japanese greatly appreciate privacy and solitude, so this decision literally allowed to place part of the yard in the house. Residents can relax on the terrace, or plot, while being completely localized from the outside world.

UNIQUENESS OF THE INTERIOR OF A FRAME HOUSING WITH A SINGLE ROOF

The special form of a two-story frame house with a pitched roof has become a tool for the implementation of an unusual interior for a European, although for the Japanese this setting will seem quite traditional. Differentiation of open and closed spaces makes the house convenient both for everyday life and for various activities. The social zone is suitable for hanging out with family and friends, for solitary yoga classes, relaxation, games. The high ceiling and the lack of isolation of the space creates a feeling of lightness and freedom, but at the same time you will remain invisible from the outside.

A stylish and original frame house with a shed roof has become an example of the fact that there are no strict rules in architecture, and even the most extraordinary and unusual ideas have a right to exist. Reception with a pitched roof and a cornice almost to the ground is a non-standard idea that will suit connoisseurs of originality. As we see in the example, such a solution can be quite practical and convenient for lovers of privacy.
